Dr Stuart Livingston General Practitioner and Molescan Doctor


Dr Stuart Livingston graduated from Guys & St Thomas’ Medical Schools (University of London) in 1996 and after a range of medical rotations in the UK, gained significant experience in oncology and palliative care. Dr Livingston decided on a change in career path as he wanted to treat people with a more holistic approach and qualified in the UK as a GP in 2008. He relocated with his family to Perth in 2012 and commenced at Joondalup City, and was appointed State Medical Director in 2018. Dr Livingston enjoys all aspects of general practice and has special interests in cancer medicine, elderly care and skin cancer treatment. He has lots of interests outside medicine and has a particular love of cycling.

Dr Iain Russell General Practitioner

Dr Iain Russell has been practising in the Joondalup and Wanneroo community for the last 43 years. He is available at the practice 4 days per week and has an interest in all aspects of general practice, especially obstetric antenatal care and aged care. He also cares for patients at Wanneroo Nursing Home and Jacaranda Lodge, and also provides home visits for his patients who have difficulties attending the practice.

Dr Paul Collin General Practitioner

Dr Paul Colin graduated from University of Western Australia Medical School in 1980, then completed an internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital before working at Fremantle Hospital including the Psychiatric unit. Dr Colin was attracted to general practice early in his career before a move to work in Zimbabwe. After returning to Australia, he worked in hospital and general practice including Kalamunda, Katherine and Cunderdin. After working for the Royal Flying Doctor service based at Kalgoorlie, Perth became home again commencing at Joondalup City in 1994. Addiction medicine is a special interest as well as the challenge of holistic family practice in its many facets.

Dr Jen Lin Teang General Practitioner and Molescan Doctor

Dr Jen Lin Teang graduated from University of Tasmania in 2007 and relocated to Perth in 2008 to commence an internship at Royal Perth Hospital. Dr Teang gained experience in paediatrics at Princess Margaret Hospital and also obstetrics and gynaecology at King Edward and Joondalup Hospitals. She has worked in rural areas of Busselton and Mandurah and become a qualified GP in 2015. Dr Teang has special interest in women’s health including pregnancy, STI, contraception, menstrual and menopause, and has interest in paediatrics and adolescent health. Dr Teang provides a holistic, personalised and practical approach that tailors treatment to meet each individual needs.

Dr David Keohane General Practitioner

Dr David Keohane graduated from UCC School of Medicine in 2010. Subsequently, he gained a Masters (MMedSc) in Sports and Exercise Medicine from UCC, a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine from NUIG and Specialist Registration in Primary Care with the Irish College of General Practitioners.

Dr David has worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in Sports and Exercise Medicine in CUH which was supported by the Irish Centre for Arthritis Research and Education. His previous clinical work involved the treatment of musculoskeletal injury in athletes, from high-performance individuals to weekend warriors and recreational enthusiasts as well as the prescription of exercise for prevention and treatment of specific disease processes.

In March 2020, Dr David joined our team of highly devoted practitioners and enjoys all aspects of general practice medicine including occupational health. In 2021 he was appointed as a supervisor by the Western Australian General Practice Education and Training facility teaching Registrars and Medical students.

Away from work, Dr David enjoys time with family and tries to spend as much time as possible outdoors.

Dr Bernadette Bailey General Practitioner and Molescan Doctor (on parental leave)

Dr Bernadette Bailey is a local graduate from the University of Western Australia. She has worked at many hospitals throughout Perth and in Albany and has special interest in general medicine, mental health and paediatrics. Dr Bailey has completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King Edward Memorial Hospital, and is trained in contraceptive device insertions and is able to provide pregnancy care to women throughout their pregnancy and postnatal period. She is registered with MS 2-Step to provide pregnancy management options.

Dr Bailey has completed additional training in palliative care with Silverchain and enjoys caring for elderly and palliative patients. In addition, she has completed a Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer medicine and is able to perform skin cancer checks and skin cancer excisions. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and gardening.

Dr Sharon Vasey General Practitioner

Dr Sharon Vasey studied medicine at the University of Wales College of Medicine in the United Kingdom, and graduated in 1994. She then went on to complete general practice training and was granted Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners UK in 1998. Dr Sharon took up a partnership at her training practice and then worked as a GP Principal in the UK for the next ten years.

Dr Sharon immigrated to Perth in 2010 where she was granted Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is a WAGPET accredited GP trainer. Dr Sharon has a special interest in medical education and is also an examiner for the RACGP and GP tutor for UWA medical students. Her special clinical interests are women’s health, mental health and addiction medicine.

Dr Mina Kamran Disfani General Practitioner

Dr Mina Kamran Disfani worked as a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) at Joondalup Health Campus until July 2017, and Medical Registrar from July 2017. She also worked as a General medical doctor for one year in a rural medical clinic, and two years at a hospital in Iran.

Dr Mina joined us in January 2021, and has special interest in woman’s health and is passionate in all aspects of general practice medicine.

Dr Karl Haddadin Molescan Doctor

Dr Karl Haddadin started his GP career in 2013 on the south coast of NSW, where he discovered a big need for specialised skills in skin cancer in the rural community. Dr Haddadin has completed further training in Diploma in Dermoscopy, Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine, and an Advance Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery. Dr Haddadin is experienced in complex skin cancer procedures including complex flaps, partial and full thickness grafts. His services include full skin checks, digital photography for short term monitoring, biopsy of suspicious lesions using an almost completely pain free technique, and creating management plans which could include the use of medicines, topical agents and/or surgery to treat various skin cancers. Dr Haddadin is a strong believer in giving patients adequate time to address all their concerns so they never feel rushed.

Dr Colin Singer General Practitioner and Molescan Doctor (on extended leave)

Dr Colin Singer grew up and was educated in Scotland, graduating from the University of Aberdeen in 2004 having completed a Bachelor of Science degree and Medical degree.  Following medical school he gained experience in a number of different surgical specialties including Orthopedics, General and Vascular Surgery, and Ear, Nose and Throat. Dr Singer completed his GP training in 2011 and emigrated to Perth. In recent years he has completed a Diploma in Dermatology, tutors medical students at Notre Dame University, supervises trainee GPs and is currently undertaking a Masters in Health Professional’s Education.  His special interests include all aspects of dermatology, minor surgery, sports and musculoskeletal medicine, and mental health.  Dr Singer provides holistic, effective, practical solutions to health problems and is a great advocate of health promotion and disease prevention.
